Dried and dehydrated products

Dehydrated vegetables are fresh products dried to remove water. Dehydration increases the shelf life, making possible out of season consumption. When food industry by-products are dried, the obtainerd dried and dehydrated ingredients can be used in the feed and petfood industries.

Drying often allows the nutritional qualities of the ingredients to be preserved (better preservation of minerals such as magnesium, potassium, calcium and iron). These ingredients are also and mainly essential fibre sources for nutritional balance.

This preservation process limits food waste by revaluing the co-products of the food industry. It is a virtuous circle of raw material recovery.
Dehydrated products can be whole or in flakes/chunks.

They can be transported in bulk, in big bags or 25 kg bags, palletized at the customer’s convenience. The weight/volume ratio of the dehydrated products is clearly optimized and transport is carried out at ambient temperature. Logistic costs are therefore optimized.
