Starches

Starches are extracted after cleaning, grinding and drying the plants from which they originate (potato, pea, cassava, etc.). They are widely used in human and animal feed. They are a sustainable complement to animal proteins.

Starches are excellent binders and gelling agents and are an important source of energy for food and feed. For example, pea starch is a very interesting ingredient providing fibre, iron and calcium in addition to its vegetable protein content. In a diet, vegetable proteins complement those found in meat products.

In addition, starches are satiating, which means that the amount of food ingested can be better regulated, giving a quicker satiety feeling.

Starches are available in powder form and can be supplied in bulk, in big bags or in 25 kg bags.
