Starches

Starches are extracted after cleaning, grinding and drying the plants from which they originate (potato, pea, cassava, etc.). They are widely used in food and feed. They are a sustainable complement to animal proteins.

Starches are excellent binders and gelling agents and are an important source of energy for food. For example, pea starch is a very interesting dietary ingredient, providing fibre, iron and calcium to complement its vegetable protein content. Vegetable proteins are a complement to those found in meat products.

In addition, starches are satiating, which means that the amount of food eaten can be better regulated, giving a quicker feeling of satiety.

The starches are available in powder form and can be supplied in bulk, in big bags or in 25 kg bags.
